ISoft presents Amadea V5, a new major version of its platform for database integration and real time transformation based on Data Morphing.
ISoft has created this new version to respond even better to the growing needs of decision-making information technology.

Amadea and Data Morphing

"Data  Morphing" technology, developed by ISoft, allows the interactive transformation of very large volumes of heterogenous raw data into information by a succession of elementary operations, with immediate acces to all the intermediate results..The analyst may also publish the obtained results directly on the internet with the Amadea Web module.

Data Morphing allows the user to control operations the length of a process and gives him access to raw data sources and intermediate results.

Data Morphing technology brings a new vision to the data transformation process and has proven to be perfectly adapted to complex transformations and the transformation of very large volumes of information.

Users of Amadea V5

Amadea is a tool of data transformation accessible to trade users working on giant databases. Interactive and without programing, it is very simple to use and requires no advanced knowledge of computer sciences. ISoft is the only editor proposing software to analysts who wish to construct evolving indicators without using programming.

Principal innovations of Amadea V5

Amadea Studio is now available for Windows et Unix, in 32 and 64 bits native versions. Amadea V5 relies on service oriented architecture and is also of course available in client/server version as well as stand alone .

These different configurations allow adaptation to different material architectures and to get full benefit from the client platforms, always keeping compatibility and a transparent passage from one version to another.

  • Occupies reduced disk space:Temporary disk space needed for computation has been largely reduced thanks to the use of new algorithms of compact data representation.
  • A new format for the export of compressed data allows to create files 2 to 10 times smaller.

Version Control

Version management has been integrated into Amadéa V5 to respond to the needs of group efforts.

Interface design improvement

The new Amadea interface entirely rewritten in Java is a vastly improved design, making use of Amadea even more intuitive and inviting.

- Graphical representation and selection : In order to facilitate the analysis and interpretation of data, results may now be represented as interactive graphics. The data may also be directly selected from graphics.

- Search capactiy

  • Search in the project: any type of object in a project (string, label, field, operator…) may be the object of a search and/or replacement.
  • Search in the grid: allows to search for precise values in the result grid, to count the number and to navigate from value to value in a search table.

- Link styles: Now it is possible to associate links with a style. A style is the name given to a set of graphical parameters of the link (color, width, form). Amadea V5 thus allows the user to mark and name the nature of the flows present in the transformation.

  • Direct insertion of an operator on a link by drag drop
  • Presence of information bubbles
  • Reduced view of work surface now possible
